Workflow & Notification

Ensuring quality content.

Workflow

NetEnable provides the ability to define workflows, to control content, review and publish. These workflows can be triggered by:

  • List Selection - the author selects the review process from a list of available workflows.
  • Business Unit - the workflow is automatically determined by the business unit that owns the content.
  • Branding - the workflow is automatically determined by the branding of the content. e.g. Press Release would have a different workflow than FAQ.
  • Any document field - Any field in the document can be configured as the trigger for automatic selection of the workflow.

Workflows:

  • can contain multiple review cycles and approvals.
  • are specific to a Content Library and can be user created.
  • allows for the user to add reviewers from the directory, if permitted.
  • can also be enabled to allow users to change the reviewers at the document level during the review process.

Notification

Email notification is sent between each stage of the process to notify the next participant in the process. The email includes details of the request and a link to the specific document in question. Email reminders can also be sent to prompt content reviews as the content nears its review date.

Notification emails, along with the process, are customisable at the content library level.
