Web Search

NetEnable has its own full text index categorised search engine which searches content as well as attachments. Users can select to search the entire site, or choose from predetermined categories. Results are presented by category and ranked by relevance to improve the "findability" of results.

Search Results returned by category and relevance.

The presentation of Search Results is customisable by the web designer. The NetEnable search engine can index non-NetEnable database. NetEnable has also been integrated with other search engines, including IBM extended Search, 80/20, Semio, and Google.

Search engine optimisation

NetEnable produces web pages that are search engine optimised. The site metadata, content order creation, robot linking are all automatically renderd to be SEO friendly. These items can be modified by users with appropriate access.

Web analytics

NetEnable can integrate with web analytics technologies including third party statistics packages. This includes the ability to add HTML code to web pages for browser based third party analytics products through the creation of dynamic web analytics components (usually HTML). These are then included in the site skins and become automatically present on all pages. A component for the Whole of Government web analytics has been created.

Content search and retrieval for system users

NetEnable provides search tools and navigation that facilitate finding content in the administrative interface for authoring and editing. In addition to the comprehensive content views, the system is full text indexed (including attachments) to allow full search capabilities.
